I had a great time today watching Chelsea beat Man Utd. I had a good exam. I come back just in time for tip off. I couldn’t believe that after 3 games the Raptors had not learned how to cover the open man. I have noticed that the Parker’s and the Delfino’s of this team are struggling to handle the Turkoglu’s and the Lewis’s but if the Raptors can’t keep up with this team without playing help D on every possession, they shouldn’t play small ball. You gotta find other ways to win. It’s been 4 games now and nothing has changed. I really hope we see something different. We are going into Orlando facing elimination. No one is feeling any urgency to attack the basket.

You know I’m going to talk shit about Sam Mitchell. He is the reason went from a 47-35 record to a 41-41 record. So its 100-92 with about 1:30 left and we take a time-out to get some plays going. I was really upset about the play call because whoever got free came out and tried whatever they could. It was soo random. A good coach in that situation, would set numerous screens lasting about 3 seconds just to get the one person they want the ball free in a position where they can attack. The Raptors came out and had no where to go after that. It was just more of that until the game ended and we started the hacking process.

Look how angry Stan Van Gundy was after Kapono got his first open three during the game, he went on a rampage. When the Raptors let the Magic get their open shots, Sam Mitchell just holds his head and wonders when he can get back to filming some Ford commercials. Sam, get the f**k out of town. I’ve never been this upset about one person in a very long time. Actually since McCabe got his NMC contract from the Leafs. Just to cheer myself up, I wanted to mention that Brett Favre is going to be on the cover of Madden 09 and I don’t believe anyone else is more deserving.
